Farewell Volvo B58/B10M tour

Maslin Beach (Gulf Parade terminus)

2403 at Maslin Beach with 2202 using the loop.

Volvo B10M no. 2403 is seen at the current terminus of the 741 route to Maslin Beach, with MAN NL202 (diesel) no. 2202 on the regular 741 service using the loop.

2203 heading to Noarlunga Centre passes 2403.

2202 is now departing Maslin Beach on the 741 to Noarlunga Centre while 2403 is still on the tour, posed as a 741J. The 741 originally terminated at Moana, the 741J being an extension of the 741 to Maslin Beach. Later the 741J was renumbered 741.

A kneeler in front of the bus.

Here we have an enthusiast, kneeling down in front of the bus. Is the bus his God, or is he praying to keep the buses in service as long as possible? 2403 is seen on the 741J at the current Maslin Beach terminus.

2403 is half hidden,

2403 is half hidden by the shelter at the current terminus. The 741 (and 741J) originally went into the township of Maslin Beach to stop 100 but was short routed in the 1990's.
